The Basement Watchdog Maintenance Free AGM Battery is completely sealed making it the perfect choice for years of reliable service for your battery backup sump pump system without having to add battery fluid or distilled water. This battery is compatible with most Basement Watchdog systems including the Basement Watchdog Emergency (BWE), Basement Watchdog Combination (DFK961), Basement Watchdog Special+ (BWSP+), Basement Watchdog Big Dog+ (BWD12-120C+) and Basement Watchdog Big Combination sump pump system (BW4000) with Special + backup controller. Look for the + on the upper left hand corner of the BWSP+ and BWD12-120C+ control panel to ensure compatibility. This battery will run the various Basement Watchdog sump pump systems intermittently for days. Connect 2 batteries to increase the run time (BWSP+, BWD12-120C+ and BW4000 with Special + backup controller). Parallel battery cables required.

Well, I was very skeptical about going out and purchase one. Due to me call the company that actually installed my sump pump system. After listening and going on YouTube, I brought down and get to my favorite store to and purchase one. OMG!! I'm so glad that made the right choice.

So far works great. No more adding water to the battery periodically like I had to do before. Time will tell what lifespan this battery has. One note of caution ... if you have an older Basement Watchdog charger/controller, you will have to buy the latest version as the older one is not compatible with this battery. New controller is not too cheap, so check into this by calling the manufacturer first. They are very responsive and helpful.
